Kelvin and Sharon James have built their 30 year reputation in the trade operating as SNJ. With demand growing year-on-year they have now founded the Diamond Centre of Wales and moved to new premises complete with state of the art design studio (CAD/CAM) and workshops, and glamorous showroom, in Rhondda Cynon Taff. They have been joined in the business by their daughters Siantel and Kara - both graduate students. Siantel has successfully completed her first years diamond training course.

The company supplies diamonds and other precious stones to both trade and private customers. Customers enjoy trawling the company’s extensive stock of all types of ladies and gents jewellery for ideas, they can then have 1 - 1 discussions with the creative team before seeing computer aided designs of the finished item. Establishing the first diamond centre of its kind in Wales is an exciting development, as far as is known there is no-one else offering such a comprehensive on-site bespoke service from dedicated premises.

Being out of town and knowing where to buy the raw materials means items can be up to 40% cheaper than the high street. “We also support the kimberley process 2000 - we do not touch so called ‘blood’ diamonds from conflict regions.” Siantel said “another unique part of our service is the ability for customers to bring back jewllery for a redesign or upgrade. We even have a trade-in service at the original cost.”
